Plasma Party
Description
*** Winner of "Best Use of Mobile" and "Most Innovative Idea" at GameHack 2012 ***
Plasma Party takes a simple game idea and extends it in a way you've never seen before.
Grab as many friends or relatives as you can find and put all your iPhones, iPod touches and iPads together to make one huge playing surface.
Then race to see who can tap out all the plasma balls of their own color in the quickest time.
Gameplay is a real-world social experience, which often involves intertwining limbs and digits with nearby opponents as you battle to reach lights in the far corners!
This game was designed and developed at the GameHack event, held at Pinewood Studios in London on April 28th/29th 2012. Organised by TIGA, the trade association representing the UK games industry, and BlueVia, the global developer platform from Telefonica, the event challenged teams to design and develop a complete game in just 24 hours.
This version is functionally identical to our prize-winning entry, although we took a little time out after the event to iron out a few of the bugs we chose not to demonstrate :)
